Spore's Thomas Vu Interviewed
 Play.tm has a new article posted today. The article is an interview with Spore Producer, Thomas Vu. There's not much I really have to say here about the interview other than how the article linked to the interview (found here) briefly discusses how the game will indeed have an end, or something very related to an ending. But don't fear fans of sandbox games, you can still, of course, play beyond the game's 'ending.'

Hmm... in a different interview, Will Wright mentioned that the ultimate goal of the game is to Reach The Center of the Galaxy... this is where the game's "ending" takes place.
I am so curious about what this ending story is, but I'm glad to hear I can still conquer the rest of the galaxy afterwards (and continue my quest to find Earth, as Will showed it in a demo). =)

nice, it is going to have a nice ending. i wonder if it have a storyline or a task you need to do in order to have a ending.

Yup, what Shadowfax says is true. In the center of your universe you'll find a species incredibly hard to defeat. If you defeat this boss, you're the winner. And yes, our own solar system (Mercurius, Venus, Mars, etc.) will also exist somewhere.
