Gamespot zooms in on the creature editor
GameSpot reports on the Leipzig Games Convention, having spent a lot of time with the creature editor. Apparently this is the only playable part of the game. A blurb: The only playable portion of Spore at the Games Convention is the creature editor. Without any previous experience with the game, we made an adorable little abomination of nature, using just a mouse, in a matter of minutes. Simplicity is the theme with the Spore interface, making it very easy to create a wide variety of custom creatures.
