Vehicle editor interview
PC Gamer sat down with Senior Producer Morgan Roarty and coaxed him into disclosing everything he knows about the Vehicle editor. They posted this information as a teaser for a full interview that will be published in their January edition. PCG: How do the choices you make in the vehicle editor impact gameplay? MR: You choose whether to create an air vehicle, a land vehicle, or a water vehicle, and there are different palettes organized around that. If you’re making a land vehicle, you have palettes full of wheels and treads and cockpits. If you’re making an air vehicle, you’ve got propellers, zeppelin-type parts, and wings. For water vehicles, we have hulls and sails, propellers, that kind of stuff. You can mix and match, too—it’s fun to put cool, aerodynamic-looking wings on a land vehicle to make it look a little bit more sleek.
