Let it be known that Hooked on Spore is not afraid to give airtime to 'less positive' voices. :) Kotaku's Mark Wilson has posted concerns about the actual gameplay time that gamers will need to play the game. In his post he says:
On-planet RTS elements like vehicle battles and defense towers are simplified to what looks like a casual RTS—if such a genre exists—resembling less the metaphorical game of paper, scissors rock while leaning toward the more literal interpretation.
The payoff, therefore, needs to be the fifth level of Spore: space. It's here where players will spend hours 6-infinity conquering civilizations on a planetary scale, with each planet comprised of single player campaigns from players around the globe.

Hmmm....the only thing negative that he is pointing out is the game length value. But not need worry, knowing WW that's the last thing Spore has to worry about.

That idiot! He must be refering to the Leizpeg demo which was cut down in time for the press to play the game all the way through! Besides, this guy works for Kotaku....when's the last time they shelled out a breakthrough game!? Dumskalle!
