gc07newcre1.jpgWith more articles coming everyday it seems like, the GDC Conference was a great thing for our dry Spore Information sweeping the community. Fortunately, we have an up close and personal article written by attenders to the event, GamersGlobal.com.

I noticed that there was a debate about unknown editors in the game, here's a quote included in the massive article:

"In the Tribe stage, you'll design "recruitment outfits" for your guys, which they use to impress other tribes (which is the peaceful means of getting them to join you). Apart from colors you can have gimmicks like crowns, farmer's hats and so on."

The Article has some new screenshots, but not too many. The bulk of information found here is incredible, any Spore fan would be foolish not to check this out. Stay close, Hooked on Spore has the absolute latest in anything Spore!

Leipzig 2007: SPOnG First Impressions

First impressions which according to this article that will later turn into a full impressions of Spore. I guess that is something to look forward to. Who knows maybe they are putting all the notes together to give a more in depth view of it. Only time will tell. Well here is a tidbit from them to wet your appetite.

As the least shown off, however, the Tribe level was the most interesting to look at. While SPOnG as a whole is starting to to suffer intellectual concussions from the amount of times we've heard "...the kind of choices you make really affect the outcome of the game", watching a bunch of crazy-looking purple guys failing to serenade another tribe so destroying its shelter with musical instruments definitely raised a smile.

More Leipzig-based articles spawned

The press can't seem to stop writing about Spore. The latest harvest of our search for new Spore material comes from Toms Hardware:

The online mode of Spore adds many more possibilities. Apart from the exchange of creations between players, it will be possible to come in conflict with several tribes or planets via the multiplayer. The players will then be able to compare their civilisation performances; we can easily imagine the introduction of intergalactic battles; and why not the alliances of planets faced with a menacing empire?

There are more stars than all of the grains of sand on earth.

You can see stars from the bottom of a well even in day light.

Stars with really strong gravity cause themselves to become smaller and smaller and eventually turn into black holes.
