Destructoid goes in-depth
Ah... if you haven't read any of the articles that have come out since last week at all, this is a must read. Destructoid has one of the most in-depth Spore reviews we've read to date. Wait, that means that even if you -have- read them all, this one is still worth reading. :) A blurb: You'll start your race's millions of years of existence as we all did, as a small, vaguely useless blob floating in the ocean, just begging to have its whole potential future history wiped out at the whim of the food chain. Your blob will be pretty ill-equipped at the start, having little more than a fairly useless mouth and a tail. It will be too small to attack anything, will barely be able to get away fast enough to defend itself, and will have to eat nothing more challenging than floating sea plants while avoiding the hell out of everything else.

did you notice that everyone that tried spore went through all stages but space. I think that they are having a lot of bugs in that stage or they are preparing something new and don't want to spoil the surprise

Or they just didn't have enough time... And since the space stage is just a (very nice) summary of the others, it is more likely Maxis wants to show the stages before it.

you're probably all wrong. you see, when you reach Space it's just do missions, upgrade your planet, build your planet, visit other planets... There's not much left to accomplish since it's the last stage. in cell and creature, you have a goal, You have to get to the next stage!
