Uber’s Spore Adventure: Part 3 - Tribal Phase!
Welcome back to Intellectual Ramblings’ presentation of Uber’s Spore Adventure! Due to technical errors, the original draft was lost, but by some fortuitous circumstances, that allowed Uber to upload more tribal photos. Joy of joys! Now, sit back and enjoy!
We’re back by popular demand! Thanks to Artistvrd and Zaefyr’s comments, I’m back on the air… er… fiber optic cable. Anyways, The server swap messed up a few things, but that worked out for the best after all. Now, the Tribal phase! My little herd have discovered fire and build their first hut.

My little Shaman is dressed in his holy day best, and we’re up and running!

My first major achievement was allying myself with the newest tribe on my island. They were called “Speed Toads” or something like that… They liked my creatures horns ;-P

My people domesticated some nearby dwarves. They seemed happy enough, but they died soon afterwards.

I planned on allying with all of the local tribes, since I accidentally came out of the Creature phase as a predator. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize how Fire Bombs worked, and set one off right inside of Pink’s village when I was helping them fight off an epic Rainbow Chameleon… they weren’t too happy.

Whoops! Sorry about this… Random conspiracy photo…

Here are the little pith helmet-wearing guys who I ended up exterminating. Aren’t they cute? Not any more…

Flower petals flew as my people ran off to gift an enemy that kept raiding me. They never bothered me again.

My tribe grew quickly, but I was still constantly full. My people’s musical prowess was unmatched.

A Grox ship did show up at one point, but it was at another village while I was charming them. Still cool, though!

A nearby tribe of Pottuns were pretty cool. Their village was large and built up, and mine was too once I allied with them.

My people seemed to like the ‘Hunting Lodge’ look. Their little tribe buildings seemed obsolete.

A pic of the charming process with the pottuns. Apparently I hit the large village before I allied with them.

I saw an epic Spad II flying in the distance… luckily it stayed that way. Distant.
And so, my people reached Civilization! I was leaning towards the ‘Pie’ guy’s point of view, but my actions had made them into an economic people. That worked too :p Hope you enjoyed this installment. I’ll be back soon with the Civ phase, and the story of how I conquered my orange-ocean planet.

Yet another great narration. Darn it, Uber, you’re making everyone else look lazy with these excellent posts!
The epic sightings look awesome, especially Aaarrrggg’s chameleon. You were also lucky to have caught sight of a Grox ship–I had a UFO visit, but it wasn’t a Grox; maybe some Maxis ship or something. They abducted my animals. D:
BTW, even on low settings, your creatures look really cool in tribal. Keep it up! Looking forward to the next installment of the series.
