Hooked on Spore!

I can’t believe I never knew about Hooked on Spore until today, but I’m glad I found out. I was just reorganizing my list of favorite creator feeds on my newsreader when I stumbled across the tag “hookedonspore” on one of Aaarrrggg’s creatures (btw, if you haven’t checked out her stuff, please do yourself a favor and look NOW), and out of curiosity, I typed it into my browser and wound up here. And it just so happened that I discovered a lively and friendly Spore community. When I found out that every user got to have his/her own Spore blog, I couldn’t resist registering… so here I am. :D Not to mention browsing the forums here is SUCH A RELIEF compared to the official boards on EA, where you’re lucky if you can complete a well-written post without losing it because of some 500 internal server error. D:

While I’m not sure I’ll always find time to post here as much as I’d hope (sorta busy in RL… actually sorta is sorta an understatement, by and large), it’s still nice to know that this blog will be around whenever I do have time to share something. Anyway, kudos to the Hooked on Spore team for making this awesome site, and please keep up the great work! It’s really a gem and I hope it stays as friendly and fun as I believe it is.

PS. How come no one is uploading to the gallery right now besides me? I don’t want to look like a spammer! :S

PPS. Obviously, with the Sporepedia already in place, there isn’t much use for uploading creatures here, so… I’ve taken them down. LOL, I know, how silly. I just don’t want to crowd the gallery with creatures that can easily be found on my own profile page, that’s all. :P

    Hey! Yeah, aaarrrggg’s creatures are amazing :D I hope to see more blog posts from you. As for the gallery, it’s probably inactive because we all use sporepedia…I used to add creatures there too, but I don’t anymore.

    Yeah, I’m with Nikos :P I added my first x amount of creatures to the HoSP gallery, but just stopped because nobody really does anymore lol. Glad you’re a fan of the blogging system though, as it really is awesome! One of the things that really drew me to this site as well :)

    Good to see yet another person with good grammar :P I agree that aaaeeeggg’s creatures are some of the best creatures ever made on Spore so far, and I mostly don’t use the Gallery because it’s easier to use the sporepedia or photobucket :P Hope to see more of your blogs soon! Not enough people do bligs right now…

    Yeah, aaarrrggg’s creatures are great. Oh and the whole point of the gallery was to share creatures between the HOSP community in the absence of a buddy system on Sporepedia. But you aren’t spamming it. I stopped uploading there ages ago. I dont even have time to post blogs anymore. I think the problem with Spore however is that it is “shared” on too many media e.g. myspace, facebook, youtube, sporepedia, fansites…it is almost too much! Anyway, great blog. And I hope more people advertise the site in Sporepedia since so many people are missing out!

    Maybe you could reply to my topic in the Creature Creator section on this subject Zaefyr?
